I'm a 21 year old female and I suppose you could call me an activist. I'm always looking for a new cause to support especially when I feel like the issue is getting ignored. I'm a proud member of my university's STAND (Students Taking Action Now: Darfur) Coalition.  I was down in D.C. last year for the rally. I'm also a proud member of my university's Water Watch group. Jersey has the worst water quality in the country and this group works to improve that through education, river cleanups and community involvement. They also took up a hurricane relief campaign after Katrina hit. I've been down to the gulf coast 3 times to help gut and rebuild houses. I'm studying biology in school with the intentions of going to med school and working in third world countries where they really need the help. I currently volunteer as an EMT on my university's campus.
